Every January the Pub hosts a benefit for the Florida Sheriff's Youth Ranches by having a annual Chowder Cook-Off. All local area restaurants cook their bests chowders and are judged by area officials. Customers come from miles around to sample these chowders. There are prizes that are donated by the businesses in our area. All proceeds go directly to the Florida Sheriff Youth Ranches.
The Pop Aguiar Scholarship Fund has been started to help give bright, young kids a shining future!
